About
Artist's statement:
The 'Urban life' series of painted wood reliefs are my first 3D works since the installation 'Miscast in the role' and pursue the idea of paintings becoming sculpture. The central figure is a dolmen and relates to a series of exhibitions titled 'Dead kings' 1983. The comb shpae appears as a dog in other works but could equally be human. The work was inspired by 'winos' in our local park.
