A young blade runner's discovery of a long-buried secret leads him to track down former blade runner Rick Deckard, who's been missing for thirty years.

Officer K (Ryan Gosling), a new blade runner for the Los Angeles Police Department, unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos. His discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former blade runner who's been missing for 30 years.

In the rare sci-fi sequel that takes its time to go deeper, 'Arrival' director Denis Villeneuve picks up 30 years after the stylish cult classic left off, engaging with the existential concerns of androids.

US/UK, Colour, 2017, 164 min., Dir. Denis Villeneuve
