David Lynch's prequel to his cult television series Twin Peaks
This film concerns the last seven days in the life of Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee), whose plastic-wrapped corpse, found floating in a river, was the fulcrum for the television series.
We screen this on the eve of the global release of the third season, 26 years after the dramatic cliff-hanger ending of the second season. Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me serves as a critical reminder of the darker nature of the series and in Lynch's own words “the story of Laura Palmer’s last seven days are very important for this”.
