All Souls Carnival: Len Lye
Len Lye: All Souls Carnival is a colourful companion to the landmark exhibition of the same name, presented at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery in 2011. The exhibition was the largest presentation of Len Lye's work in his homeland New Zealand. Len Lye: All Souls Carnival took its name from Lye's film of the same name. The catalogue is wrapped in a brightly coloured dust jack poster of a still from the All Souls Carnival film.
Feature essay by Tyler Cann. Note: catalogue essay adapted from Len Lye: The Body Electric, curated by Tyler Cann and Jonathan Watkins for Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, UK.
