Indiana Jones meets Monty Python in this hilarious comedy adventure... Having found fame as a modern-day Robinson Crusoe by seemingly surviving alone on the desolate tropical island of Val Verde, French action adventurer Jack Mimoun, (Malik Bentalha, Employee of the Month, AF FFF22) has made a name for himself as an adventure star.

With a best-selling book, television show and stellar reputation – Jack appears to be the man of the moment. Unfortunately, his on-screen persona, the ‘Survivor of Hell’ is all a giant fabrication. In real life, his adventures are really just highly-scripted and minutely controlled TV productions, supported by a large crew and sedated wildlife. Determined to make it to the big time, Jack must keep his charade a secret from his doting audience.
When Jack meets the beautiful Aurélie (Joséphine Japy, Love at Second Sight, AF FFF20) he is instantly smitten. In an erratic attempt to woo her, he decides to take on his first real-life mission, going in search of the legendary sword of the pirate La Buse.

With neither the skills nor expertise, Jack is powered only by ego, remaining optimistic as the team journeys into the depths of the jungle. Coming along for the ride is an unhinged producer, Jérôme Commandeur (Employee of the Month, AF FFF22) who is equally as clueless. With no skills and a merciless island on their hands – what could possibly go wrong?
