An Encore screening of TVNZ's Country Calendar featuring the art of local food production by Roebuck Farm.
Roebuck Farm on Hurford Rd in Omata, Taranaki, is quickly becoming an internationally followed and acclaimed model for sustainable food production practices.
The sustainable and profitable small scale working farm directly markets its salad greens to local restaurants and markets in New Plymouth, fortifying relationships between consumer, farmer and in-season produce. The farm is also gaining recognition for its restoration grazing practices which mimic herd patterns found in nature and restores biodiversity to pasture with low input.
Pre-screening introduction begins at 5.30pm.
Screening starts at 5.45pm approx, followed by a Q+A with Jodi Roebuck.
