Senior Curator of International Art at the Tate Modern, Yasufumi Nakamori visits New Zealand to present a series of lectures on historical and contemporary photography.

A former lawyer and noted scholar of Japanese art and architecture, Nakamori will present a talk titled Images of the City after Disaster – considering cities in ruins, sudden or long lost, as powerful metaphors for historical community and the embodiment of memory.
