Celebrate the new publication accompanying the artwork Kūreitanga II IV.

Join Taranaki artist WharehokaSmith (Taranaki, Te Ātiawa, Ngā Ruahine) in conversation with Chloe Cull and Te Ingo Ngaia. Have a cuppa and enjoy a kōrero about the elements that informed the work.

Commissioned for the Govett-Brewster’s Todd Energy Learning Centre, WharehokaSmith’s work Kūreitanga II IV is located at the heart of the building and is reflective of designs used by Māori to decorate wharenui (ceremonial communal houses), clothing, objects and architectural spaces.
