The Gallery’s current exhibition There is no other home but this: Areez Katki and Khadim Ali explores themes of displacement and home, stolen land, and the impacts of colonialism. While the exhibition is centred on the impacts of events over many centuries on the Afghani people of today, a parallel could be drawn to our own history and legacies of colonisation and displacement.
