Join exhibiting artist Richard Maloy for a discussion on his work Things I Have Seen and his wider practice.

Concerned with questions of learning and experience, Things I Have Seen (2017) is a video work made up of numerous performances by the artist in his Tokyo studio recreating works of art he has physically encountered.

Maloy is an Auckland based artist, he graduated with a Masters in Fine Arts from University of Auckland in 2001 and is currently a lecturer in Fine Arts at Whitecliffe College Auckland. He employs a multi-disciplinary practice working across photography, installation and video with performativity and process as central methodologies.
