Join filmmaker Julia Reynolds in a hands-on filmmaking workshop.
Explore how to create tonal elements of mood and how mood effects all aspects of moving image creation.
Designed for those who have some previous experience with a digital camera, either in photography or moving image, this workshop will explore language and its relation to image using a number of practical exercises.
Reynolds' creative practice spirals outwards from film and moving images making without the restriction of 'a-means-to-an-end', but rather 'a-means-to-a-means'.
Reynolds is an outstanding filmmaker, with years’ experience as a director, editor, art director and more recently scriptwriter for virtual reality. She’s worked in television, music videos, TV commercials, funded short films, animations, international web content, as well as interactive and virtual reality.
Reynolds says of her creative practice, ‘My work and research explores community, DIY film-making, process, empowerment and the environment – all served with a healthy spoon of philosophy.’
