A Taranaki Art Adventure

30 Nov 2020

The Govett-Brewster Art Gallery / Len Lye Centre and a number of Taranaki’s top attractions have teamed up with the Auckland Art Fair 2021 as its exclusive Museum Partner.

To celebrate, we’ll be presenting an iconic Len Lye sculpture at the Fair on Auckland’s Waterfront from 24-28 February 2021, thanks to Technix Industries, and offering an exclusive Taranaki Art Adventure package available to Fair-goers.

Just a 40-minute flight from Auckland or Wellington, the region offers much more beyond leading contemporary art.

The Taranaki Art Adventure will feature two nights in the heart of the region’s West End Precinct arts and cultural hub, staying at the acclaimed King & Queen Hotel. A personal tour of the Govett-Brewster and Len Lye Centre will give you an insight into the Gallery’s history, the stories of Monica Brewster and Len Lye, and the current exhibitions.

Dine in style at some of the city’s top eateries, including the Gallery’s Monica’s Eatery, and add on a range of optional and unique Taranaki tours to ensure a regional escape like no other.

The package is presented with Taranaki partners Technix Industries, King & Queen, the West End Precinct, and Venture Taranaki.

Booking details available shortly.
