Kia ora koutou,
Following the Government’s announcement on the COVID-19 alert level, and for the safety of our audiences, artists, staff and community, the Govett Brewster Art Gallery/Len Lye Centre is closed until further notice.
Our online shop is still open (see further details below).
Please check our website and Instagram for updates.
Our online shop remains open but please note, we are not able to ship any orders until the end of the lockdown period.
All Gallery public programming including cinema screenings, family art, waiata, and school holiday programmes have therefore been postponed until further notice.
• We’re taking no new bookings for our events until further notice
• Anyone that has booked tickets for forthcoming events will be contacted by our staff who will inform you of the details and process any cancellations/refunds.
• Please call us on (06) 759 6060 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or concerns regarding your ticket booking and our staff will be happy to help.
• We will inform you once any events are rescheduled - please see our website for latest updates in the meantime.
Thank you for your understanding – we will keep you updated on how we plan to work and continue bringing art to our audiences during this time. Look out on our website and Instagram for further messages.
I’m booked on an event that your website states has now been cancelled and I want a refund.

Can I still visit the exhibitions at the Gallery?
In line with Ministry of Health guidelines the Gallery, including the shop and cinema are now closed until further notice.
Will I still be able to attend regular programming like Family Art and Len Lye cinema screenings?
All of the Gallery's public programming is cancelled until further notice. We will update our website and social media with any changes. https://govettbrewster.com/events/
