We're on the lookout for budding filmmakers to create a short film, providing insight into life inside their bubble, with a chance to see it screened online and at a future event.
The Govett-Brewster’s Community Film Project, which launched on 1st May, aims to provide a platform to bring us all together in this unique, challenging time and celebrate the arts and creativity as a vital part of our being.
No previous experience is required, and entry is free and open to anyone. We want to make this opportunity as accessible to as many people as possible.
Whether first-timers or professional filmmakers, participants are invited to get together with those in their bubble or create a virtual team, with family or friends, to make a film that provides an insight into their current lives.
All films contributed to this community project will be shown on the Govett-Brewster YouTube channel.
There's even a chance to see it screened at a future red carpet event at Len Lye Cinema, when it is safe to do so.
The submission process is open until 13th May 2020. For more details, including how to submit as well as terms & conditions, take a look at the Govett-Brewster Cinema page.
