The Govett-Brewster Art Gallery / Len Lye Centre has lined up some amazing New Zealand film industry talent to review your short film entries.
Panellists will include actors Erroll Shand and Paolo Rotondo, who both currently star in BBC/TVNZ show 'The Luminaries'.
Budding filmmakers now have until 27 May to submit short films, to the Gallery’s community project, with a chance to see their entries screened at a future red carpet event.
As the Govett-Brewster extends its short film project deadline, it is also pleased to announce the industry guest panellists it has lined up to review entries:
Actor Erroll Shand has starred in Brazilian drama 'Pequeno Segredo', 2016 and family fantasy drama 'The Water Horse', 2007.
Italian Film Festival co-director Paolo Rotondo. A playwright, actor and producer who starred in horror film 'The Ugly', 2007 and made his directorial debut with 'Orphans & Kingdoms', 2016.
New Plymouth based actress Holly is best known for TV series 'Underbelly NZ', 2011 and the films 'Second Hand Wedding', 2008 and 'Power Rangers Jungle Fury', 2008.
Wellington based filmmaker, editor and producer Nicole, has 20 years of commercial experience and directs the 72Hour Film Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The (extended) Bubble Project is free to enter and open to all ages, providing a platform for both budding and experienced filmmakers to contribute to a community project, aiming to capture life in lockdown bubbles.
Not only will entries be reviewed by these respected film industry guest panellists, there will also be a chance for entrants to see their films screened at a red carpet event at Len Lye Cinema, when it is safe to do so.
There are also spot prizes up for grabs and film entries will also feature on the Gallery’s YouTube Channel.
