A Taranaki Art Adventure at the Auckland Art Fair
24 Feb 2021
We're at the Fair
The Govett-Brewster Art Gallery / Len Lye Centre and a number of Taranaki’s top attractions have teamed up with the Auckland Art Fair 2021 as its exclusive Museum Partner.
We’ll be presenting Len Lye’s iconic kinetic sculpture Big Blade outside the main entrance to the Fair on Auckland’s Waterfront from 24-28 February 2021, thanks to John and Lynda Matthews and Technix Industries.
To celebrate our partnership with the Auckland Art Fair, we’re offering an exclusive Taranaki Art Adventure package to Fair-goers.
The Taranaki Art Adventure one or two night package will get you into the heart of the region’s West End Precinct cultural hub, staying at the King & Queen Hotel. A personal tour of the gallery will give you an insight into its history, exhibitions, and the stories of Monica Brewster and Len Lye.
Dine in style at the city’s top eateries, or add an optional private art tour, foodie tour, or guided walk on the slopes of Taranaki Maunga to ensure you have a visit like no other.
Find out more or book your adventure by calling King & Queen on 06 757 2999 or by emailing reservations@kingandqueen.co.nz quoting “Auckland Art Fair”.
The package is presented with Taranaki partners Technix Industries, King & Queen Hotel, the West End Precinct, Govett-Brewster Foundation and Venture Taranaki.
To celebrate, we’re presenting an iconic Len Lye sculpture at the Fair on Auckland’s Waterfront from 24 - 28 February 2021,
thanks to Technix Industries, and offering an exclusive Taranaki Art Adventure package.
