Tamura is the 2018 Govett-Brewster Art Gallery International Artist in Residence.
Fiona Clark Raw Material

Waking Up Slowly: Elizabeth Thomson and Len Lye
10 Aug - 17 Nov 2019
A spirited conversation between two indomitable creative forces – one of New Zealand’s leading contemporary artists, Elizabeth Thomson, and arguably the country’s most internationally acclaimed 20th century artist, Len Lye. Together the artists’ work explores the unconscious and conscious human mind as well as some of the darker nooks and crannies of the scientific world.
Open Window – Ana Iti: Beyond the ash cloud

Wellington artist Ana Iti investigates the process of imbuing geological activity with cultural and personal meaning. Working poetically with audio and text accompanied and grounded by geological materials, Iti explores the natural process of place-making and the language, narrative and memory that follows.
