The Art of Dance project launched in late May, with an open call for entrants of all ages and dancing abilities to create dance videos inspired by artworks from the Gallery’s collection.
On Saturday 19th July, we came together as a community to celebrate the success of this online project; give entrants, their whānau and hoa the opportunity to watch The Art of Dance performance videos on the big screen in the Len Lye Cinema, and a chance for the dancers to meet other entrants.
