Honour the past and welcome the new. Visit the woven artwork Hidden Muka (within Fibrous Soul) by Parihaka-based artist and kaitiaki of Te Niho o Te Atiawa Parahuka marae Maata Wharehoka. Learn about the importance of the Mounga during Puanga and how our Mounga, moana and awa help us connect to our loved ones who have passed.

Create an artwork featuring stars, shells and stones to decorate a photo of a precious person no longer with us or to celebrate a new life.
