About
Lalaga: Le Hui Fono will host a series of talanoa sessions, co-created with Lalaga artists, youth ambassadors, and community leaders to foster collective reflection, storytelling, and knowledge sharing. These sessions build on the rich network of relationships and experiences nurtured through the Lalaga project.
Designed as an expanding conversation, this series of intimate and interactive sessions will weave together diverse perspectives, exploring the benefits and possibilities of the gallery’s ongoing engagement with Pasifika creatives and communities. Through movement, music, dialogue, play, visual expression, and shared kai, participants will collaboratively explore concepts and questions about what it means to stay connected and responsive to Taranaki and the wider Te Moana Nui-a-Kiwa Region.
Join Lalaga: Le Hui Fono artists, the Pacific community, and the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery team for a weekend of empowering conversations, artistic activations, and collective dreaming about future projects for our community.
