Summer of 2003. Amidst the oppressive heat and the urban decay, three teenage-boys— Lukas (Levy Rico Arcos), Gino (Rafael Luis Klein-Heßling) and Julius (Vincent Wiemer) —navigate the challenges of adolescence. As the scorching sun beats down on the city, the trio must contend with problems at home and menacing drug dealers who lurk around every corner. With limited resources and their innocence fading, the boys are desperate to escape the suffocating grip of their neighborhood. When a fateful encounter with rival dealers leaves Lukas owing €500 in protection money, the boys hatch a risky plan, guided by their resourceful new classmate Sanchez (Aaron Maldonado-Morales). Together, they‘ll break into their school, steal the new computers from storage, and sell them. This will solve all their financial woes—or so they think.
