After his release from prison, Babtou is really looking forward to a new beginning: enjoying the freedom with his buddy Dennis, embracing the world – and having nothing to do with the authorities anymore. But incredibly, things go so wrong at his impromptu welcome party that Babtou finds himself in handcuffs again that same evening. With dramatic consequences: due to repeated delinquency, he is set to be deported to his “home country” of Senegal. But Babtou knows Senegal only from his father’s stories. He was born in Germany, his home is Frankfurt. In order to prevent the impending deportation at the last minute, Babtou and Dennis are prepared to do anything.
